The Fifty Eighth Doodle

I don't really know why, but I love this picture. I drew it as a quick sketch in a cafe with a cup of tea.

I do love Boots. He is the one who can often surprise you with his behaviour; he can go from very reserved and judgemental to ridiculous and playful. I think Wuss could be sneaky, but I actually think Boots could be sneakier....

What a crafty lad.

I love 'em.

The Seventeenth Doodle

I do enjoy wacking a bit o' text in there sometimes with my life drawings, just to give a bit of the story I'm seeing while I draw. It's like popping your thoughts of this person into the picture too.

This old dude was sat across from me, innocently munching his lunch while I drew him. I'm like a sketching ninja - mwahahaha.

I then got home and worked on the colours to flesh him out a bit. I like him. So I shall reward myself with a biscuit.

The Twelfth Doodle

I have become one of those irritating people who sit in cafes and draw everyone around them. I'm sure some people don't mind, but some people get wellllll funny about it. Eek.

So I doodled this guy reading his book, I figured he couldn't see me so he wouldn't get all freaked about it. And it's not like anyone would look and go 'My god, that's Jeremy, from accounting! He said he was sick in bed that day!'. No.

I added the colour later when I got home, but kept it very loose, sort of like the sketch. Quite pleased with him.

Life drawing is crucial, very good practise. So even if it annoys you, I'm going to carry on doing it. Nah!
